AccuRIP Ruby™ (latest version replacing and advancing AccuRIP Black Pearl RIP software) has the important ability to auto-detect and connect to your printer on your network. Options in the Configuration Menu allow you to dial in your needs including halftone size and shape. Set it RIP software and forget it, or edit at will. AccuRIP uniquely offers All Black Ink (control of every print slot) so you can load just black ink (dye) and spray from any/all slots (not available for P800). Also provided with AccuRIP is critical ink lay down control for the perfect amount of ink sprayed during output. Note: AccuRIP Black Pearl SE does not have ink lay down control, as it was designed by Freehand for Epson as a turn-key solution for P800 users and sold as a hardware, software, consumable bundle through Epson America Screen Print Dealers.
AccuRIP ™ software drives the entire film printing (output) process including critical ink lay down control not capable of achieving without a RIP. Print separations to film transparency media with ease and accuracy.
The latest and greatest version is AccuRIP Ruby as Black Pearl is now discontinued. (Windows/Mac) There is a Ruby EP (Epson) and Ruby CP (Canon) version to drive film printing through your supported Epson printer.
AccuRIP Ruby (EP) Epson™ replaces AccuRIP Black Pearl Software™ and drives the entire film output process.
Current AccuRIP Black Pearl users as well as version 1.01 – 1.03 users can advance their version and upgrade to AccuRIP Ruby EP. Go to the Ruby page to learn more. You have the choice of an Epson version.
A RIP is not just for halftone output to film, it’s for all graphics file output needs including popular solid spot colors. The communication gap between your art file (PostScript Graphic) and your Epson Printer is bridged by AccuRIP Black Pearl. Since the quality of the output is critical to screen exposure and ultimately success on-press, the RIP software offers resolution, halftone type and size options and the ability to adjust ink lay down for your film and ink combo. AccuRIP software users trying to manage their business without a RIP with the thought of saving money ultimately suffer with poorer quality than the competition and wasted film, ink, time and money. A RIP will pay for itself in a very short amount of time. If you’re serious about AccuRIP screen printing put your focus on pre-press as well as print production. They go hand in hand.
If you think you’re not tech savvy and can’t handle a RIP, AccuRIP software is your solution. With an Auto Setup Wizard that detects and connects to your Printer and a driver you select in the print window of your graphics program (i.e Adobe, Corel) this will be the easiest RIP software that’s hard at work for you.
